These Terms of Service govern use of davillajuanita.com and reservations or stays arranged with Da Villa Juanita. By using the website, submitting a reservation request or confirming a booking, you agree to these terms and to any booking-specific conditions provided to you in writing.
1. About Da Villa Juanita
Da Villa Juanita provides private accommodation in Hector’s River District, Portland, Jamaica. Website descriptions and photographs are intended to help guests select suitable accommodation, but minor changes may occur as the property is maintained or improved.
2. Reservations and Confirmation
- A reservation is not confirmed until Da Villa Juanita issues written confirmation and any required deposit or payment has been received.
- The person making the reservation must be at least 18 years old, have authority to book for the group and provide complete and accurate information.
- Each Coastal Vista room is separately bookable and has its own availability. The Coastal Vista Wing overview is not an additional bookable unit.
- Special requests are subject to availability and are not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.
3. Rates and Payments
Rates, taxes, deposits, accepted payment methods and payment deadlines will be shown during the booking process or stated in your written quotation or confirmation. Prices may change before a reservation is confirmed. Guests are responsible for bank charges, exchange-rate differences or third-party payment fees that may apply.
4. Cancellations, Changes and No-Shows
The cancellation, amendment, refund and no-show conditions stated in your quotation, booking page or written confirmation apply to your reservation. If no specific condition is provided, contact Da Villa Juanita before making a payment or changing travel arrangements. Approved refunds, where applicable, may be reduced by non-refundable processing or bank charges.
5. Check-In and Check-Out
- Check-in: 3:00 PM
- Check-out: 11:00 AM
Early arrival and late departure require prior approval and may be subject to availability or an additional charge. Guests may be asked to provide identification at check-in.
6. Guests, Visitors and Use of the Property
Only the number of guests confirmed in the reservation may occupy the accommodation. Additional guests, visitors, events, parties, commercial photography or other non-standard uses require advance written approval and may involve additional conditions or charges. Guests must respect neighbours, staff, other guests and Jamaican law.
7. Guest Conduct, Damage and Prohibited Activity
Guests must take reasonable care of the accommodation, furnishings, grounds and equipment. The booking guest is responsible for loss, damage, excessive cleaning or disturbance caused by anyone in the group, except for ordinary wear and tear. Illegal activity, dangerous behaviour, harassment and deliberate property damage are prohibited. Serious breaches may result in termination of the stay without refund where permitted by law.
8. Safety and Personal Belongings
Guests must follow reasonable safety instructions and supervise children and vulnerable members of their group. Da Villa Juanita is not responsible for loss of unattended personal belongings except where responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded. Please report hazards, damage or security concerns promptly.
9. Availability of Services
Internet, electricity, water, television, appliances and other services may occasionally be interrupted by maintenance, weather, utility providers or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We will take reasonable steps to restore affected services but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.
10. Website Use and Intellectual Property
Website text, branding, photographs and design may not be copied, republished or used commercially without permission. You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation or submit false or unlawful material.
11. Third-Party Services and Links
Payment processors, transport providers, attractions and other third parties operate under their own terms. Da Villa Juanita is not responsible for a third party’s acts, omissions, availability or policies unless expressly agreed in writing.
12. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Da Villa Juanita is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, travel disruption, or events outside its reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits rights available under applicable consumer law.
13. Privacy
Personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes in our services, booking process or legal obligations. The terms in effect when your reservation is confirmed will generally govern that booking, together with its written confirmation.
